Prospects

MS Accounting and Finance is a two-year program that can be completed in one and a half year. The program makes up to 18 years of study and there is no research thesis. Although, students do not have to write a research thesis but in various courses they have to do research work and write research articles, which provides them good understanding of writing and publishing research papers. MS degree holders are eligible to apply for teaching jobs in colleges and universities and they may opt for careers in the corporate sector, particularly financial and banking sectors. The graduates may also proceed for PhD degree.
