Mahwish Shahid is a dedicated resource at the Department of Computer Science within the Faculty of Information and Technology (FOIT) at UCP. Her journey in academia began in November 2017 and joined UCP in May 2024, and since then, she has been committed to nurturing the minds of the future. Mahwish holds an MPhil in Computer Science from the University of Engineering and Technology (UET), Lahore. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (BSCS) from Lahore College for Women University (LCWU), Lahore, securing 2nd position distinction. Beyond academia, Mahwish Shahid has a valuable background in the software industry, having worked as a technical writer and Software Engineer at Ora-Tech Systems Pvt. Ltd. This practical experience has enriched her teaching with real-world insights. Her passion for teaching and research is evident in her chosen fields of expertise, which encompass Machine Learning, Deep Learning, Bioinformatics and Gamification. Mahwish's dedication to advancing knowledge in these areas has been recognized through her notable achievements. In 2019, Mahwish was honoured with the Employee of the Quarter award at UMT, a testament to her exceptional dedication and contributions to the university community. In 2022, she received the Research Excellence Award, which underscores her exemplary research efforts and their impact on her field. Dr. Adeel Arif earned his PhD from Shanghai Jiao Tong University with specialization in autonomous systems and computer vision. His research focused on developing vision-based control strategies for precise autonomous landing of aerial robots. With a background in Electrical Engineering and experience in Computer Science, he works at the intersection of hardware and software. Over his 13+ years in academia, he has contributed to teaching, research, OBE accreditation, IEEE event organization, and lab development, and has reviewed for leading IEEE and Elsevier journals.

Iqra Javaid is a committed professional who works as a Lab Instructor at the University of Central Punjab (FOIT) in the Software Engineering department. After completing her Intermediate (ICS) from Punjab Group of Colleges in 2020 and her Matriculation in Science from Sir Syed Model School in 2018, she went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Central Punjab in 2024. In 2024, Iqra has acquired real-world experience as a Frontend Developer at Softtectpanel in addition to her academic achievements. She is dedicated to helping her students develop a solid foundation in software engineering. Her focus is still on teaching and industry participation, even though she hasn't published anything yet. Maira Ikram Malik

Maira Ikram Malik is a Software Engineering graduate and Lab Instructor at the University of Central Punjab (UCP), Lahore. She completed her BS in Software Engineering from UCP with a CGPA of 3.74 and is currently pursuing an MS in Computer Science at FAST-NUCES (2026–present). Her interests include software development, web and mobile application development, software testing, debugging, AI-based applications, and academia, particularly teaching, curriculum development, and research. Her Final Year Project, Deepfake Detector, is a web application designed to identify AI-generated videos using deep-learning techniques. Before joining UCP, Maira completed internships in web and mobile application development and business development, gaining exposure to React, React Native, responsive user interfaces, APIs, debugging, code reviews, requirements gathering, client communication, and coordination. Her technical skills include Java, C++, JavaScript, SQL, the MERN stack, React Native, and software testing. She is interested in developing practical software solutions, contributing to teaching and learning, exploring research opportunities, and continuously strengthening her academic and technical skills.
